Le concept initial du <strong>Spaceship Earth<\/strong> est n\u00e9 au milieu des ann\u00e9es 1970, gr\u00e2ce au r\u00eave de Walt Disney d&rsquo;une <strong>Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow<\/strong>, qui a donn\u00e9 naissance au parc \u00e0 th\u00e8me EPCOT Center. Des tuyaux maintiennent les panneaux d&rsquo;habillage en aluminium \u00e0 distance du squelette et m\u00e9nagent de l&rsquo;espace pour les r\u00e9seaux techniques. Un petit chariot de service est stationn\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;espace interstitiel entre les surfaces structurelle et de bardage, et peut transporter un technicien allong\u00e9 le long des fa\u00e7ades pour acc\u00e9der aux points de r\u00e9paration. Le projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par Zaha Hadid en 2007 ; c&rsquo;est le seul h\u00f4tel dont elle a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois l&rsquo;architecture et les int\u00e9rieurs. Le projet a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en <strong>2012<\/strong> et a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9 ext\u00e9rieurement en <strong>2019<\/strong>.
